This tender, flaky salmon is pan-seared and finished with a rich garlic butter sauce. Quick, keto-friendly, and perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each, skin on or off)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or dill, for garnish
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Pat salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Season with paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon skin-side down and cook for 4–5 minutes until golden and crisp.
  3. Flip the fillets and cook another 3–4 minutes, depending on thickness.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic to the skillet, stirring until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  5. Spoon the garlic butter over the salmon and finish with lemon juice.
  6. Remove from heat. Garnish with parsley or dill, and serve with lemon wedges.
